Who is Tracy Lloyd?

Hello, my name is Tracy Lloyd and I am Designer maker living in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham with my two amazing children, Daisy and Charlie. I began working as Daisy doo back in 2006.
I started out making wooden signs and selling them at various Craft markets and at a couple of local retailers. I went on to painted canvases and painting mureals, which was great fun.
In 2011 I began an Applied Arts Foundation degree at the Cleveland College of Art and Design in Hartlepool (famed for graduates such as Mackenzie Thorpe and Ridley Scott). I began to study techniques in Ceramics, Textiles and Jewellery which led me to redevelop into a high quality brand reaching out to the masses through the wonders of Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter.
Im now in the final year of a BA (Hons) Textiles also at CCAD preparing for my final collection.

My products...

I am passionate about recycling, upcycling and vintage. If I can find a new use for something or a way of integrating something old into my pieces, I will. The throw away culture that we all live in today is unsustainable and so many beautiful items are just discarded unnecessarily. I love to bring new life into old characterful fabrics and objects.
I am developing new designs all the time and have some great products in the pipeline. Please keep checking back with the site and dont forget to follow my blog, twitter and facebook page.
Please let me know what you think of the site and my products, your feedback is so important to me.
